Job Description
We are currently adding a Staff Accountant to the team for our Hollywood office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Recording daily bank and receivables transactions
Maintaining & reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
Preparation and filing of monthly sales tax returns
Preparing month-end close procedures and ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all company s accounting tasks
Reconciling subledger to general ledger account balances
Posting journal entries to the general ledger
Assisting with annual audit preparations
Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets

Job Requirements
Requirements/experience
3+ Years of accounting experience
Working knowledge of US GAAP
Bachelor s degree in accounting required
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with Dynamics GP preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced environment
Analytical and detail-oriented background
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
