Facility Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on, physical role responsible for ensuring our manufacturing facilities, equipment, and workspaces are clean, safe, and fully compliant with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

Perform cleaning and sanitizing of production, packaging, storage areas, and manufacturing equipment daily.

Conduct routine inspections of assigned facilities, production equipment, and workspaces.

Follow and maintain compliance with USDA, FDA, GMP, NFI SOPs, and company safety policies.

Document completed tasks accurately and maintain up-to-date records.

Adjust daily work schedules to meet sanitation and maintenance requirements.

Perform preventative maintenance on air conditioners, forklifts, trucks, and other assigned equipment.

Ensure all electrical systems, lighting, and wiring are safe and operational.

Manage recycling of boxes, cartons, plastics, and other materials in accordance with company policy.

Participate in ongoing training and follow SOPs for sanitation and equipment handling.

Assist with other duties as assigned by the Facility or Maintenance Manager.
Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

2+ years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of chemicals and cleaning processes used in production sanitation.

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and maintain accurate documentation.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

No allergies and ability to work around vitamins, minerals, herbal, and OTC products, disagreeable odors, high noise levels, and continuous standing.

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform physical tasks safely.
