Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Broker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating the movement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing logistics operations. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, transportation management, and regulatory reporting to effectively support our clients' needs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including freight transportation and fleet management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and clients to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Preparing import/export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and other required paperwork.
- Generate comprehensive reports on logistics performance metrics to inform decision-making.
- Advising clients on customs procedures, including tariff classifications, import duties, and other compliance requirements.
- Understanding international trade laws and customs procedures is essential.
Experience
- Must have customs broker license exam (CBLE)
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation management is preferred.
- Familiarity with report writing practices related to logistics operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across various stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing operational performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
