Sanitation Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to ensure our manufacturing facilities, equipment, and production areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance. This is a non-physical sanitation-focused role ideal for individuals who thrive in regulated environments and are committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of production, packaging, storage areas, and equipment in compliance with USDA, FDA, GMP, and NFI SOPs.

Conduct routine inspections of designated facilities and production areas to maintain cleanliness and operational standards.

Complete accurate documentation of sanitation activities, including reports, logs, and compliance records.

Maintain a tidy, safe, and organized environment at all times.

Adjust daily schedules and priorities to meet sanitation requirements.

Follow established training, SOPs, and safety protocols to accomplish all tasks effectively.

Collaborate with Maintenance & Operations Manager and other departments as needed.

Assist with other sanitation or facility-related tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

1+ year of experience in a GMP-regulated production environment.

Knowledge of chemicals and cleaning processes used in manufacturing sanitation.

Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to write routine reports and maintain accurate records.

Comfortable working around vitamins, minerals, herbal, and OTC products, and in areas with disagreeable odors or high noise levels.
